A Little Rammy
When we were kids and things were getting a little wild, my cousin would say ‘it’s getting a little Rammy over here.’ This hide reminds me of that—kind of just rolling around on the ground laughing with your loved ones. So much variation in fiber texture, color, and length. I didn’t comb out all the knots, because I kind of like them. Lots of debris still in the fiber and a little stiffness in the neck, so this is a discounted price for a very unique hide. 39x22”
When measuring, I measured down the middle for both length and width. Some parts of the hide will be longer and some will be shorter. I measured the leather side. Fiber often extends beyond the leather.
I live with dogs, so please consider that if you are extremely allergic. These hides will become softer with time and use. I wash and comb these sheepskins multiple times, but you will still find pieces of organic matter in them once in awhile—it’s impossible to get it all out! You can wash them sparingly by hand or on the delicate cycle with cold water with gentle unscented soap with a machine. Give it a few good stretches and then lay flat to dry or tumble dry low and slow. If you ever decide you don’t want this hide, please compost it or leave it to decay into the woods—don’t throw it in a landfill!
If you would like to arrange a payment plan, I’d be happy to do so with you—please reach out! I am not accepting returns at this time, so please ask any and all questions before you buy.
